What is eTrainingMaterials?

eTM is an Internet based, online, pay per service book store and publishing house with access to millions of users world wide. Most importantly, we are a tool for you to use to gain access and get exposure to more business and to make money from what you have used and devoped for organizational development and other business improvement efforts.

What can eTrainingMaterials do for you?

When you register as an author with us, you become part of the family. Our goal is to give every author a better chance at success. We will make every effort to help you become more well known and to generate income from your efforts.

We set up a home page for you and your materials. On the home page you will find that we list your email address and website along with those materials that you have submitted.

With your email address posted, interested parties and even other publishers can contact you directly. They can also go directly to your website. Thus, we are a single source of both training materials of all kinds as well as trainers and facilitators. People can review your approach and materials before they contact you.

We will take no spiffs or commissions from these contacts. Our purpose is to sell your materials from this website.

We list the materials in our catalog, cross-referenced by keyword, type, length and other factors.

What about Search Engines?

You will be given the easy to follow directions and links to list your home page and materials with the now 30 major search engines for free. By doing this individual submitting to the search engines your exposure will increase.

Our aggressive affiliate program is creating a growing, motivated sales force of hundreds working for you. This drives traffic to the main site. We will begin actively marketing the site to the business community when we get a reasonable number of quality exercises online.

Press Releases and publicity will also used on a regular basis to get the print media (trade publications and news papers) to pay attention and see where we are going and who is going with us.

Why eTrainingMaterials?

We understand that most consultants and trainers have limited funds for selling materials but plenty of energy and enthusiasm regarding their work. Most of us have good information in our computers but little way to actively or effectively sell those materials.

Scott Simmerman has self-published 5 books and a team building game and selling them worldwide for the past 7 years. But it has taken a great deal of effort to get them recognized as powerful team training tools. Most consultants do not have the time or resources to dedicate to this process but they do have good stuff. Thus, the purpose of this website -- make excellent materials easily and inexpensively available!

We give the author the tools to promote their work and to achieve success on a limited budget. We know if a team effort is put forth, great things can be achieved. We want you to be part of our team.

What's In It For Me?

On eTrainingMaterials, we pay you 50% of the sale price of your book. If your work sells for $5.00 you get $2.50 per sale. If it sells for $20 you get $10.

Our portion of the sale goes to the sales force that is out there working for you and our overhead. We also pay the sales force well to motivate them to go out and sell your book. Everyone that works gets paid.

What does all this cost?

For a very limited time, there is a one-time $25 fee to cover our direct costs of getting your materials online. We expect that the fee to publish on line will rise as we get bigger.

We will take materials of all kinds in a variety of formats. The key is that they be in digital form and downloadable online.

When is the work put "on line"?

We anticipate all works being online and visible within 5 days from the time you complete the registration, submit the work and make your payment. If you have an urgent need to have your work on line by a specific date or time advise us and we will do everything we can to accommodate your request.

How is the price established?

We highly recommend that you price the work so it is competitive. We think this will be a VOLUME business. There is a global marketplace for these materials. In fact, we are already partnering with a Russian organization who will be translating many of the eBookstand works for sale there.

We anticipate an initial price of $5 to $10 for most materials, unless you have highly technical and valuable information and a Big Name to go with it! YOU set the price! If you choose to change the price in the future that can be done by contacting support@ebookstand.com -- we can advise as to suggested pricing as we get more experience with the sales process for these materials.

Editing

Editing and presentation of your manuscript is your responsibility. We do not check spelling or grammar. We are only responsible for the text we put on our web pages relating to us, you and your work. So make sure your manuscript is grammatically correct, spelled correctly and in a readable format.

If you desire, we can connect you to people who can edit your work at a variety of different levels, from simple spelling and grammatical checking to full-blown professional editing.

What about pictures?

We encourage photos or drawings as long as they are part of the document. Any questions contact us.

What category of works can I submit?

We will accept all materials that are in good taste and do not promote hate or the overthrow of the government. (Well, maybe the latter will be okay! ;-) )

We see no limitations on the kinds of training and development materials you would like to submit. These could be as simple as a pencil and paper survey or as complicated as an intranet-based customer service training program in .html format. (Guess we would have to make a few special arrangements for the latter but it is certainly within the realm of possibilities for our website.)

Scott intends to sell a variety of cartoon-based exercises along with some other materials, articles and exercises.

Can I submit my works to others also?

When you submit your work to us, we get a non- exclusive license. You can submit work to print publishers and to our competition if you wish. Remember it is your work and we are here with a tool to help you not hinder you.

Canceling our agreement

If you choose to retract you work from eBookstand for any reason, send a registered letter to us at the address listed below and you will be "deleted" from the system.

How long is my work in the library?

The contract term is 18 months. Once you have paid the initial set up fee, you will be in the data base and will be maintained. After 18 months and if sales are "Zero" we reserve the right to remove any files from our system.

How do I get paid?

You are assigned an account number for tracking sales. You will be paid monthly for those sales credited to the previous month. Online sales statistics will be available in the future. At anytime you can e-mail accounting@ebookstand for a complete record of your account.

You get a check made out to you every 30 days regardless of sales amount one book or one hundred. The check comes from our third-party administrator, Commission Junction.
